Along with Cymdeithas Cyfieithwyr Cymru (The Association of Welsh Translators and Interpreters), the Welsh Language Services Centre at the University of Wales Trinity St David offers a unique opportunity for interpreters and prospective interpreters to gain a vocational and practical qualification in simultaneous interpretation.
Lynwen Davies is the course leader, she is the author of the Simultaneous Interpretation e-book and website 'Llwyfan Cyfieithu ar y Pryd Cymru'. The sessions are led by two experts in the field, Lynwen Davies and Nerys Hurford.

This website offers support to individuals who wish to learn and practice the art of simultaneous interpretation. The platform houses training materials which include video clips, professional guidance and terms associated with the clips. The materials and instructions have been created by experienced practitioners and aim to ensure that future interpreters are nurtured and developed to the expected professional standards.
In addition, practitioners can record and save their interpretations on their devices so that they can listen, reflect and refine. By joining this course, they will have full access to all resources on the platform.
This Certificate is part of the National Masters scheme, as MA Translation Studies.
